Although we say this is good for advanced Chinese learners, this is great for Chinese beginners and up as well as English learners.

In this video, 白洁 taught you how to say sneakers in British English (i.e. trainers), and in Chinese ( 运动鞋 yun4 dong4 xie2 )

Shopping = 逛街
honk = 按喇叭
to get lost = 迷路了
really interesting/fun = 真是有意思
market (selling vegetables and meat) = 菜市場
egg plant = 茄子
egg = 鸡蛋
Chinese idiom 一个头两个大 it means “to be in trouble or difficulty”
zucchini / courgette = 小胡瓜; 意大利黄瓜 or 西葫芦
handsome boy/man = 帅哥
pants /trousers = 长裤
panties or Underpants /pants or snickers = 内裤 ( inner pants = underwear)
embarrassing = 羞死人了
I don’t want to live = 不想活了。
When Americans say “My God!”, we Chinese would say “妈呀”

Here’s a great youtube video to teach you how to say “Happy Birthday!”, “Happy Holiday!”, “Wish you Merry Christmas”, “Wish you Happy New Year!” in Mandarin.

You can do it easily with This One
(Try to type in this han4yu3 pin1yin1 and you will get hànǚ pīnyīn )

It is great that you can find lots of video to learn Chinese on Youtube. But searching could be time consuming and only some video clips are of good quality and whith while.
