How do you write “Love” in Mandarin & Cantonese?
The good news is it will be the same in both.
There are two forms to write “Love” in Chinese:
1) Simplified ( Official form used in Mainland China and Singapore) 爱
2)Traditional (used in Hong Kong, Taiwan, etc.) 愛
Here’s how we write I love you in Chinese (Mandarin/Cantonese):

Hi,
I am not sure if I have the right section, but I am looking to get a tattoo in mandarin, hopefully in 2 symbols. I am not very familiar with this language, so I am hoping you can help me. I want to get “Live Life” on my wrist, to compliment my other tattoo that says Cody in Mandarin. It is a memorial tattoo, and I want the other side to represent him, and myself. Please help me 🙂
Thanks
Brandi
