Sometimes, we use some different names for fruits in Cantonese.
e.g. Mandarin: 葡萄 Cantonese: (葡)提子 The Cantonese do use 葡萄 in written Cantonese or use it in 葡萄酒 ( wine made of grapes, not the one made of rice.)
Mandarin — Cantonese
草莓 — 士多啤梨 ( transliterated from the English word strawberry)
猕猴桃 — 奇異果 kiwi fruits
樱桃 — 車厘子cherry
西红柿 — 番茄 tomato
李子 — 李
桃子 — 桃
Others are the same in both Mandarin and Cantonese:
